1: Sanitation

Our staff puts great efforts into securing a good level of sanitation during the travel.

2: Disease

We highly recommend you to consult your travel doctor prior to arrival. (Make sure you do this at least one month before coming.) If need be, there is a drugstore in Putussibau and we can assist you in any request you may have. Feel free to contact us for any questions or concerns you may have.

3: ATM

Only 1 Bank & 1 ATM are available in Putussibau. You can use cashcards that have the following mark:
Maestro, Cirrus, Link.

However, we highly recommend to bring sufficient cash prior to arrival!!!

4: Bathroom, Lavatory

The bathroom and lavatory fasilities are quite basic in the jungle. Local people usually take a bath in the river. Women are advised to bring a "sarong"(traditional bathwear for women).

5: Best Season

The dry Season usually starts in March and continues until the period from October. It is the best season for trekking in Kapuas Hulu. If you want to do wildlife observation, February to March is appropriate, as fruit season and breeding season of animals. The end of dry season, around August to October, is the best time for the adventure experience. A lot of activities (rice field and ceremonial activities) will be held by indigenous people around December to February and April to June.
