The Kapuas - Bungan expedition is an adventurous tour exploring the upper Kapuas and Bungan rivers.
During the river expedition, the wooden longboat will cross rapids, narrow river etc.
Abandoned or active traditional farming, Gold mining, and the longhouses will give impressive memories from the journey.
This trip also includes the exploration of the Longhouses, a Historical cave, Jungle trekking, and a traditional welcome drink.

2 08:00 Our guide will pick up you at the hotel, and bring to boat station after breakfast.
10:00 Departure from boat station in Putussibau by longboat. River Bank / Lunch
15:00 Nanga Bungan village Arrival at the Nanga Bungan village. You can explore this little village. Nanga Bungan / Dinner, Breakfast
3 08:00 After breakfast, Departure for Tanjung Lokang. River bank / Lunch
15:00 Tanjung Lokang village Arrival at Tanjung Lokang. Tanjung Lokang / Dinner, breakfast
4 08:00 Jungle Trekking to go to Kahung cave.
12:00 Kahung Cave Cave with an old graveyard of Dayak Punan. Kahung cave / Lunch
18:00 Tanjung Lokang When you come back to Tanjung Lokang, the locals will dance and play music in the evening. Tanjung Lokang / Dinner, breakfast
5 09:30 After breakfast, trip back to Putussibau by following the same rapids of Bungan and Kapuas River.
16:00 Long House In a longhouse of the Taman tribe, you will be hosted by the indigenous people. Traditional and unique longhouse, handicraft, and traditional knowledge are part of the livelihood of the Taman tribe. Overnight stay in the longhouse. Long House / Dinner, Breakfast
6 08:00 Start to Putussibau from the longhouse.
11:30 Putussibau Putussibau city tour. You can find souvenirs in the traditional market and in the souvenir shop. Restaurant / Lunch, dinner, breakfast, lunch
7 15:30 After lunch, our staff brings you to Airport. You can depart at 11.00 PM. Good bye Putussibau!

  • You will get wet on the boat. Please protect your baggage.
  • There is no bathroom is in the Jungle. For women, it is recommended to bring sarong(traditional bathwear for women) to bath in the river.
  • There is no electricity.
  • This tour depend on the weather. If needed, the tour will possibly be edited.
